Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI, part of 42 North Dental, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist, who is open to treating children, to join our team.

We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with modern facilities and a supportive team. The right candidate will have a passion for children's care and a long-term career path with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license and Hepatitis B vaccination on file.
• Malpractice insurance coverage and BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Formation

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
