Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency.
• Dental Anesthesia Specialty Certificate.
• Valid state dental license and certification to practice in Ohio.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric dental patients.
• Collaborate with pediatric and general dentists to plan anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures.
• Recognize and respond to anesthesia‑related emergencies.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and records.
