Kids Dental Brands in Greenville, NC seeks a Dentist Anesthesiologist to lead pediatric anesthesia within a collaborative clinical team. You will develop individualized anesthesia plans, ensure safety, and contribute to a stress-free dental experience for children and families.

You will support ongoing education and growth within a doctor-owned organization that values patient safety, quality care, and community access to dental services.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency program.
• Dental Anesthesia Specialty Certificate.
• Valid North Carolina dental license to practice as a Dentist Anesthesiologist.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing dental procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal care throughout treatment.
• Collaborate with pediatric dentists, general dentists, and clinical teams to develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration, including vital signs, sedation levels, and overall patient response.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies or anesthesia‑related complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records related to anesthesia services.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education and instructions to patients and families.
• Follow all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and best practices related to anesthesia administration.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and collaborative care initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of advancements in dental anesthesia techniques and patient safety practices through continuing education.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative clinical environment.
