Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency program.
• Active Ohio dental license and anesthesia certification.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients with focus on safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with pediatric and general dentists to plan anesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs, sedation level, and patient response before, during, and after procedures.
• Recognize and respond to anesthesia-related emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia services.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to families.
• Follow regulatory safety protocols and best practices.
• Participate in team trainings and collaborative care initiatives.
• Stay current with advances in dental anesthesia techniques.
• Contribute to a positive clinical environment and team culture.
