Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office (pediatric experience a plus)
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Proficiency with dental practice software (we'll train the right candidate)
• A positive, team-first attitude and a genuine love for working with children

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with professionalism and warmth, in person or on the phone
• Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups using dental software
• Handle patient check-ins/check-outs and collect co-pays or balances
• Coordinate insurance verifications and authorizations
• Support a smooth flow between front office and clinical team
• Be a reassuring and friendly first contact for nervous children and their parents
• Other assigned tasks by management
