Job summary

DOCS Health is a pediatric dental practice seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support pediatric procedures, monitor patient safety, and manage behavior with a patient-first approach.

The role requires current state Dental Assistant certification, X-ray, CPR/BLS, N202, and a Real ID license. Schedule is 1–2 Mondays per month, 7:45 AM–4:00 PM, with compliance to HIPAA/OSHA and background checks.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification for the state you are applying to.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric dental experience.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• N202 Certification.
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dental procedures and instrument handling.
• Take vital signs, document medical histories, and monitor patient safety.
• Manage pediatric behavior and prepare patients for procedures.
• Operate dental software, digital imaging, and clinical equipment.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/OSHA).
