Job summary

Pediatric Dental Care in Memphis is seeking a Clinical Dental Assistant Lead to guide the clinical team while providing chairside support as needed. This role combines leadership duties with hands-on dental assisting in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

The ideal candidate possesses at least 1 year of pediatric dental assisting experience, prior leadership or training exposure, and strong communication and organizational skills. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience (pediatric preferred).
• Prior leadership or training experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced workflow.
• CPR certification (current).

Responsibilities

• Create weekly employee schedules and duty lists.
• Oversee patient flow and ensure timely seating of patients.
• Conduct morning huddles and daily team communication.
• Assist with interviews, new hire onboarding, and employee evaluations.
• Maintain training and ensure compliance with clinical standards (OSHA, HIPAA).
• Communicate with doctors regarding treatment and scheduling.
• Order and maintain nitrous, oxygen, and other clinical supplies.
• Assist with coordinating patient treatment schedules.
