Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Pedo Dental Assistant in Mount Juliet, TN to support pediatric dental care with patient education and charting. You will assist doctors, prepare operatory rooms, and help with materials such as fillings and crowns in a team-focused environment.

The role requires state-appropriate radiography licensure, coronal polish and CPR certifications, along with a willingness to learn dental software and x-ray systems. Full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Coronal Polish Certification required.
• Sealant Certification preferred.
• Radiography licensure per state requirements.
• CPR Certification required.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x‑rays; ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with charting, fillings, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Perform expanded duties per state regulations and compliance.
• Assist in procedures like fillings, temporary crowns, sutures, and fluoride applications.
• Record and review patient health history; complete forms in dental software.
• Enter and update patient treatment plans as directed by the treating dentist.
