Job summary

Kids Dental Brands, Triad Kids Dental (Winston Salem), seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team. You’ll work chairside with dentists, take radiographs, sterilize instruments, and educate families to promote healthy smiles.

We value a patient-centered approach, safety, and a welcoming environment for children and parents. Requirements include a DA certificate (CDA/DA I/DA II) and North Carolina radiation certification (or DANB).

Qualifications

• DA certificate (CDA/DA I/DA II) is required.
• North Carolina Radiation Certification or DANB Radiation Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Chairside work with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals, and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
