NC Pediatric Dentistry in Locust, NC is seeking an experienced DAI/DAII to join our clinical team. Under general supervision of a dentist, you will assist with a wide range of patient care and dental procedures and collaborate in a busy, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a dental assistant program per state guidelines.
• Coronal Polishing Certification required.
• Nitrous certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Takes and develops dental radiographs; monitors nitrous oxide as needed.
• Maintains sterilization and instrument prep for treatment area.
• Educates patients/parents on oral hygiene and care.
• Maintains OSHA standards and inventory for clinical supplies.
