Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the bedside team in a pediatric setting. You will provide direct patient care across 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe outcomes and patient-family centered care.

The role requires 12 months of RN experience, a BSN is preferred, and GA licensure or multi-state licensure. BLS and PALS/PEARS certifications are expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 12 months RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensure as RN in Georgia or via compact is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care using the nursing process across the continuum.
• Delivers age-appropriate, family-centered care with cultural sensitivity.
• Documents and uses clinical decision support to guide care.
• Educates patients and families based on identified learning needs.
• Provides supervision for unlicensed staff while ensuring quality care.
• Contributes to timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.
