Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and to join an interdisciplinary team. You will apply the nursing process to deliver safe, developmentally appropriate, patient-family-centered care.

Requirements include 12 months RN experience, BSN, Georgia RN licensure (or multi-state through eNLC), BLS within 30 days, and PALS/PEARS within 1 year as required by the department.

Qualifications

• 12 months RN experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or multi-state via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment or start of shift in ED.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
• Integrates values and language preferences into healthcare delivery.
• Uses clinical decision support tools to recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify plans.
• Provides patient and family education and documents outcomes.
