Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or related field.
• Must have strong SAS skills.
• Experience with data extraction, cleaning and analysis of pediatric data.
• Familiarity with data quality control and data merging.
• Ability to investigate data issues and document methods.

Responsibilities

• Writes SAS programs for data extraction, cleaning, structuring, validation, and analysis to support investigators.
• Recommends methods to improve data processing and data flow.
• Ensures data quality through testing, validation and troubleshooting of database records.
• Documents methods and results for use by the research team and assists in grant/protocol drafting.
• Maintains knowledge of military health system data systems to guide data selection.
• Supports data visualization and ethical data handling.
• Provides training and onboarding to new team members.
