Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) seeks a Biostatistician III to provide biostatistical support for clinical and laboratory research, including data extraction, analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the DCAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in statistics/biostatistics/epidemiology or related field with 6–8 years of experience.
• Master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in statistics/biostatistics/epidemiology or related field.
• Doctoral degree with 0–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming for data extraction, logic checks and queries, data listings, summary statistics, statistical analyses, reports, tabulations, and analytical data sets.
• Collaborate with the Project PI and other biostatisticians to select methods and influence study design.
• Lead the data analytic team in collaboration with senior scientists and coordinate resources and deadlines.
• Direct project staff and support personnel, ensure quality and timelines, and monitor progress.
• Perform statistical analyses, design surveys, and work with online survey tools; provide reports and status updates.
• Conduct literature searches and write scientific reports/papers.
• Prepare required reports and coordinate with external agencies; manage collaborations with academic and federal partners.
• Guide and assist senior program managers and HR on statistical analyst recruitment and staff coordination.
• Prepare and monitor budgets.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
