Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Mesa, AZ for the Cardiovascular Operating Room. You will support physicians during complex procedures and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience. Perioperative Academy completion within one year is required for new to OR nurses.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in the operating room.
• New to service/new operating room nurses must complete the Perioperative Academy curriculum within the first year.
• Banner Registry and Travel positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans.
• Plan discharge and collaborate with care team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities in the OR.
• Document care accurately in patient records.
• Provide evidence-based perioperative care and safety.
