Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the CVOR in Streeterville, Chicago. This full-time role requires 2+ years of RN experience, with CV OR experience strongly preferred, and a pediatric-focused training path.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; BSN preferred and ADN with BSN commitment accepted. Current IL RN license, ability to handle pediatric patients, and quick emergency response are essential.

Qualificações

• 2+ years RN experience required; new graduates not eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing assessments using standard methods and unit-specific tools.
• Evaluate and document changes to individualized care plans.
• Develop or tailor teaching plans for patients and families.
• Perform nursing care per procedures and protocols; anticipate emergencies.
• Communicate patient status and care needs with families and interprofessional team.
• Stay current with evidence-based nursing practices and hospital quality initiatives.
• Uphold Magnet principles and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with team to achieve unit and hospital goals.
• Identify learning needs and seek resources to advance practice.
