Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a CT Technologist to perform pediatric CT exams, ensure image quality, and support patient care.

You will work with nurses and physicians to optimize patient flow and outcomes, while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. The role requires ARRT CT within one year, ARRT XR, IEMA licensure, and CPR/BLS certification, with experience on GE/Siemens CT systems and EPIC/PACS.

Qualifications

• ARRT XR certification required at hire; ARRT CT within 1 year; ongoing certification maintained.
• IEMA licensure required at time of hire and maintained.
• BLS CPR certification required; 2+ XR imaging experience preferred.
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging procedures per department standards in a timely, efficient manner.
• Produces high-quality examinations and submits images for interpretation.
• Verifies patient demographics, clinical data, and accurate results entry.
• Maintains accuracy in contrast documentation and QA in EPIC/PACS/Workday.
• Acts as patient flow coordinator when assigned and supports multidisciplinary care.
• Adheres to radiation safety and institutional policies.
