Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a CT technologist to perform advanced CT imaging, ensure quality standards, and support education for students and staff. The role requires ARRT CT and XR certifications, IEMA licensure, and CPR, with experience on GE and Siemens scanners.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, document in EPIC and PACS, and participate in quality control, safety, and patient-flow initiatives to provide exceptional pediatric care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (XR) required at hire; CT cert within 1 year preferred.
• IEMA licensure required at hire and maintained.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure in a level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging procedures according to department standards.
• Produces examinations meeting image quality standards.
• Submits images for physician interpretation.
• Handles imaging with/without contrast as required.
• Ensures accurate data entry in EPIC and PACS for QA.
