Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will operate GE and Siemens CT scanners, ensure accurate data entry in EPIC/PACS, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to support timely patient flow. The role requires ARRT XR, CT within 1 year, IEMA licensure, BLS, and 2 years XR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT XR certification required at hire; CT within 1 year.
• IEMA licensure required at time of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years XR experience preferred.
• Proficient with EPIC, PACS and Workday systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging procedures per department standards.
• Produces examinations meeting image quality standards for physician interpretation.
• Verifies accuracy of patient demographics, diagnosis, and results.
• Ensures complete data entry before shift end (contrast in EPIC and PACS QA).
• Acts as patient flow coordinator when assigned.
• Collaborates with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care and flow.
• Performs modality-specific quality control procedures.
• Meets age-specific competency standards.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures.
