Job summary

Advocate Health, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a PRN CRNA to join the Pediatric anesthesia team. You will provide perioperative anesthesia services for pediatric patients using evidence-based techniques and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff across shifts.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program with a Master’s Degree, NC RN licensure, and current CPR/ACLS/BLS certifications, plus strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with a Master’s Degree or higher.
• North Carolina RN licensure and NBCRNA certification.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications; ability to demonstrate clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for pediatric procedures using safe, quality techniques.
• Ensure peri-operative anesthesia care is appropriate for age groups and co-morbidities.
• Support patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Document and maintain confidential records per standards.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and readiness to provide patient care; demonstrate professionalism.
• Collaborate with care teams and pursue ongoing professional education.
