Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.
• RN licensure in North Carolina + Certification as Nurse Anesthetist (American Board)
• Current CPR, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists and mentor medical students.
• Develop peri-operative and anesthesia care plans with attention to co-morbidities and age guidelines.
• Collaborate with the medical team to uphold patient safety and drive quality improvements.
• Document and maintain patient records per hospital standards.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and punctuality to ensure timely patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute to cost containment efforts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
