Job summary

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Baylor Scott & White Health provides anesthesia care across the perioperative period, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia, and emergence.

Qualifications

• CRNA licensure and certification required; ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Experience: less than 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Induces and maintains general anesthesia per the plan and safety standards.
• Perform intratracheal intubation and extubation.
• Monitor and record vital signs and anesthesia-related data throughout the procedure.
• Manage fluids, electrolytes, and potential adverse drug reactions under supervision of attending anesthesiologist.
