Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, administers, and documents nursing care during transport.
• Provides physical and psychological comfort to patients.
• Monitors patient condition during transport and reactions to medications.
• Guides assisting personnel in patient care during transport.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available and functional; reports failures.
• Promotes a positive image of UMMC through community outreach.
