University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for critical care transport of pediatric and neonatal patients. The role involves direct patient care during flight or ground transport, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include an RN license, an Associate's degree in Nursing, and 3 years of neonatal/pediatric emergency experience. BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.

Competenze

• RN with an Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing and 3 years of neonatal/pediatric ICU or emergency transport experience.
• Valid RN license; BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Mansioni

• Evaluates, plans, administers, and documents nursing care for patients during transport.
• Provides physical and psychological comfort to patients; monitors condition and reactions to treatments.
• Guides assisting personnel in patient care.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available and functional; reports equipment failures.
• Promotes a positive image of UMMC through community outreach.
• Ensures regulatory compliance of transport care; maintains reports/documentation.
• Participates in disaster preparedness and EMS unit operations for State Medical Response.
• Duties may change; management reserves right to adjust responsibilities.
