MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric outpatient clinic. The COTA will work under a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on therapy that improves fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills in children.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited OTA program, Texas COTA licensure or eligibility, and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• Pediatric therapy experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized OT interventions under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Implement treatment plans to improve fine motor, sensory integration, and self-care skills.
• Assist children in achieving developmental milestones through engaging activities.
• Document therapy sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Communicate with families regarding goals and progress.
• Collaborate with OT and other pediatric therapy team members to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe, supportive clinic environment for children and families.
