Job summary

Arbor Therapy in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role in our outpatient program. You will deliver evidence-based pediatric OT services under supervision, supporting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and developmental goals.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, enjoy a Saturday pay differential, and benefit from mentorship, documented time, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive clinic

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one before employment
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it before employment
• Passion for working with children and supporting families
• Feeding therapy experience or interest is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide direct pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support meaningful functional outcomes
• Deliver engaging, play-based interventions addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, regulation, and developmental skills
• Monitor client progress and communicate relevant updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, SLPs, SLPAs, PTs, PTAs, caregivers, and other members of the care team
• Educate and support families through home-program recommendations and ongoing communication
• Create a positive, compassionate, and welcoming experience for clients and families
