Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certification: NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensure: Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes per facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Lead or assist with therapeutic activities and daily living tasks to promote independence.
