DV Therapy is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). You will implement treatment plans, guide pediatric patients and families through exercises, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records in a supportive, evidence-based setting.

Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, educating families on home programs, and ensuring therapy equipment safety.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license required.
• CPR certification required.
• TB test annually required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a calm, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and implement OT-designed treatment plans; provide therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of therapy equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Manage appointments and client sessions.
• Maintain organized charts and data tracking.
• Support research projects and community education initiatives.
