Job summary

DV Therapy Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support children and families in Southern California. You will work under a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and educate pediatric patients and their families.

Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Annual TB Skin test.
• Active CA COTA License.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and implement OT-designed treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of therapy equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Manage appointments and client sessions.
• Maintain organized charts and data tracking.
• Support research projects and community education initiatives.
