Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one pediatric OT services in homes, daycares, and schools across Greater Houston and surrounding areas. You’ll work under an OT, deliver targeted interventions, and educate families to support functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT per treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
