Whole Child Wellness in Spearfish, SD is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with pediatric clients under the supervision of an OT. You will implement treatment plans, observe progress, and document responses to therapy for children with diverse needs.

The role emphasizes neurodiversity affirming practice, collaboration with families, and ongoing coaching from experienced pediatric OT. On-site work with flexible Monday–Friday schedule and potential CEU access.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistance or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans for children with various disabilities under OT supervision.
• Observe, document and report children’s progress or reactions to treatment.
• Communicate changes to OTs and families; maintain detailed progress reports.
