Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a licensed and registered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide outpatient pediatric therapy under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. The role supports children in developing skills for home, school, and community participation.

You will work in a collaborative, family‑centered environment, with EMR and Office 365 tools, documenting progress, billing, and plans of care while maintaining productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Florida COTA license required.
• Associate's Degree in COTA from an accredited program.
• Prior pediatric therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized pediatric OT treatment plans under supervision.
• Educate and support families to promote carryover of strategies.
• Maintain productivity goals while delivering high-quality care.
• Document progress notes, billing, and plans of care within policy timeframes.
• Utilize EMR and Office 365 tools for documentation and communication.
• Coordinate care with the clinical team and families.
