Job summary

Milestones Autism Center in Washington, MI is seeking a full-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed OTs in delivering therapy to autistic children and adolescents.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding clients to improve fine motor, sensory regulation, and daily living skills, documenting progress, collaborating with ABA therapists, and assisting with parent education and materials preparation.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Michigan licensure.
• Experience or interest in working with autistic individuals in interdisciplinary settings.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed OTs by implementing treatment plans.
• Guide clients through activities to improve fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Document session notes and progress and prepare therapy materials.
• Support caregiver education to promote home carryover of strategies.
