Job summary

US Pediatric Partners is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team in Summerville, SC. You will assist providers with patient work-ups, vital signs, specimen collection, and procedures within your scope of practice.

You will prepare patients for exams, support physicians during visits, and help manage labs, records, and patient communications. Excellent communication and independent work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have active CMA/RMA certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric practice experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer applications; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and interview patients; record vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during exams.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; perform basic tests as directed.
• Maintain logs and inventory; ensure supplies and sterilization as required.
• Process messages from patients and front office staff to providers.
• Uphold HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy.
