Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate and regulate clinical research across departments under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities include handling IRB documents, coordinating study visits, data entry, informed consent, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with FDA, GCP guidelines, with opportunities to contribute to publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year research experience required.
• Combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience is directly related to the duties of the job.
• Proficient organizational skills with ability to manage multiple studies.
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficient knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines.
• Proficient analytical skills with the ability to recognize quantitative and qualitative research methods and remain agile and adaptable to various technological systems.
• Proficient entry level leadership skills.
• Recognizes the need to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage initiation and regulatory approvals for clinical research studies.
• Maintain study documents and regulatory binders.
• Oversee clinical research visits and site activities.
• Collect specimens, document data, and perform QA/QC.
• Engage participants, obtain informed consent, manage reimbursements.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
• Track grant deadlines and deliverables.
• Prepare data abstracts and develop data dictionaries.
• Participate in investigator meetings and present findings.
• Assist with invoicing and billing.
• Other duties as assigned.
