Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D. or BS degree.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.
• Hospital and departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired.
• Previous clinical health-system experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective medication use in pediatric acute and critical care areas.

Join the Pediatric Pharmacy Division at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist IA on our 7-on/7-off overnight team. Overnight pharmacists play an essential role in ensuring safe and effective medication use across pediatric acute and critical care areas. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop experience in medication management, therapeutic drug monitoring, emergency response, drug information, and clinical decision-making in an environment that encourages professional growth and increasing autonomy.

This full-time night-shift position is eligible for applicable shift differentials and night-shift incentives, providing additional compensation for overnight practice.
