Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist II in General Pediatrics to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for general pediatrics patients. You will round with the Neill Team to optimize regimens, review orders, and educate patients and staff.

Responsibilities include drug information dissemination, policy development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and potential involvement in research. Work schedule is typically day shift with occasional weekend/evening coverage.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a pharmacist in Maryland required.
• Board Certification through BPS or equivalent required within 2 years of start date.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification is desirable.
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services for general pediatrics patients.
• Round with the Neill Team to optimize complex pharmacotherapy regimens.
• Perform medication order review and verification for pediatric patients.
• Provide drug information and education to patients, students, residents, pharmacists, and other health care practitioners.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning, education, policy development, and research activities.
