Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Medical Assistant Lead to help oversee daily clinical operations across small to mid-size offices. You will supervise MA staff, support clinicians, and ensure quality patient care in a pediatric-focused setting.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience with vaccines, EHRs, and infection control. Travel to other office locations is possible under company policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma required.
• Medical foreign doctors must have a Bachelor of Science degree in General Medicine from a regionally accredited university or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• 2 years as a PA Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and evaluate MA staff; monitor patient visit time and experience.
• May assume clinical/admin responsibilities in absence of Practice Manager.
• Maintain high quality patient experience; ensure safe environment and infection control.
• Record intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormalities.
• Assist with examinations and age-appropriate procedures under supervision.
• Perform vaccine/medication reconciliation and education to patients.
