Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks an experienced nursing leader to facilitate and manage ongoing department operations across quality, service, fiscal, and human resources processes, ensuring safe patient care and a supportive family-centered environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in management/administration, a BSN, and RN licensure in Georgia with BLS within 30 days; preferred is advanced business/management education and healthcare leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management/administration experience.
• RN licensure in Georgia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Professional nursing certification preferred.
• PALS or PEARS as department-specific consideration.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and manages ongoing department operations, including quality, service, fiscal, and HR processes.
• Supports delivery of comprehensive patient care and a safe environment for children and families.
• Leads staff development, performance improvement, and collaboration with clinicians.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
