Zusammenfassung

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a skilled laboratory technologist to perform routine and specialized tests at the Outpatient Center in Lincoln Park – Clark. You will identify issues, maintain documentation, and ensure quality control while supporting patient care and safety.

You will train rotating residents and staff, contribute to developing procedures, and uphold service principles of innovation, teamwork, and excellence in care for children and families.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences or 60 college hours with relevant medical laboratory technology courses
• Meets regulatory requirements for moderate or high complexity testing as appropriate
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task

Aufgaben

• Follow testing procedures and policies for routine and specialized tests
• Record documentation to comply with agency and hospital regulations
• Instruct and train rotating residents, students, physicians and new staff
• Develop and evaluate new procedures and protocols
• Maintain clean work area and ensure supplies at workstations
