Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in chemical or biological sciences or related medical laboratory technology training.

Responsibilities

• Follow clinical laboratory testing procedures for routine and specialized tests.
• Identify sources of test problems and recommend action.
• Maintain quality control and comply with lab policies for hazardous substances.
• Record documentation to meet regulations and complete instrument maintenance.
• Instruct and train rotating residents, students, physicians, and staff in testing procedures.
• Ensure clean work area and adequate supplies at each station.
• Assist in developing and evaluating new procedures and protocols.
