Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with formal Medical Assistant certification required.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• If phlebotomy is performed, CNH phlebotomy training must be completed.
• Must pass CNH medication test and basic numeracy tests.
• Basic computer knowledge is required and patient interactions must be handled professionally.

Responsibilities

• Handle clinic front office tasks: answer calls, schedule and remind appointments, collect medical information and manage referrals.
• Prepare patients for visits by gathering labs, x-ray results, and history; ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist in exam rooms: obtain history, measure vital signs, document, and support physician orders and procedures.
• Support lab services: collect specimens, run basic tests, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain sterile, organized workspace and manage supplies and equipment.
