Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree of Nursing or DNP from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license - active throughout employment.
• Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PNCB).
• American Heart Association BLS.
• American Heart Association PALS.
• American Heart Association ACLS.

Aufgaben

• Conducts medical rounds, documents plan of care, and ensures best practices.
• Coordinates complex care from admission to discharge.
• Reviews patient records prior to admission (labs, directives).
• Provides education to parents on discharge planning and wellness.
• Writes orders, monitors therapies, and interprets diagnostic tests within protocol.
• Prescribes and evaluates medications within approved protocols.
• Maintains timely clinical documentation and handoffs to team.
• Ensures medication safety following Five Rights and infection-control standards.
