Nicklaus Children's Health System in Florida seeks a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to manage critically ill pediatric patients in the Cardiac ICU. You will collaborate with cardiologists and intensivists, perform rounds, orders, and family education, and coordinate care across the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master's or DNP, Florida APRN license, and PNCB certification, along with BLS/PALS/ACLS. Weekend and night shifts may be required in a high-acuity environment.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree of Nursing or DNP from an accredited school of nursing.
• Florida APRN license - active and in good standing.
• Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PNCB).
• American Heart Association BLS, PALS, ACLS - active and in good standing.
• Level II Background Check.

Mansioni

• Conduct medical rounds with documentation of plan of care.
• Serve as clinical expert and coordinate complex care.
• Review patient records prior to admission and ensure directives.
• Provide education to families and discharge planning.
• Write orders and monitor medication therapies per protocol.
• Prescribe and evaluate medications and therapies as per protocol.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours.
• Communicate handoffs to physicians/APNs to ensure continuity.
