Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP/ABHES) or CMA/RMA certification in lieu of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs, growth parameters, medical histories and symptoms in the EHR.
• Communicate patient-related information to the licensed provider and assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic tests within the Medical Assisting scope.
• Collect laboratory specimens including blood and perform point-of-care testing.
