Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by CAAHEP, ABHES, or approved by the Department of Education.
• CMA or RMA certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification for Health Care Professionals required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs and patient data in the EHR.
• Perform ECGs, pulmonary function tests, and other diagnostic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications under supervision of a licensed clinician.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Process prescriptions, refills and prior authorizations as authorized.
