Job summary

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• One year of experience in a health care or pediatric setting preferred.
• Graduate of an MA program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or CMA/RMA in lieu of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs and document in the EHR.
• Support clinical exams and procedures under supervision.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a licensed provider.
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Maintain infection control practices and HIPAA compliance.
