Job summary

University of Missouri Health Care seeks a Care Team Associate to support nurses and hospital staff on-site in the Pediatrics unit. You will assist with patient transfers, feeding, vital sign checks, and daily tasks while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program or has completed nursing coursework within 90 days.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or exam registration.
• Proof of certification as Patient Care Technician (PCT) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and ancillary staff in transferring patients and delivering meals.
• Maintain orderly environment and respond to unit telephones and messages.
• Educate and train new staff in Care Team Associate responsibilities.
• Support routine and emergent duties as delegated by nursing staff.
• Assist with patient hygiene, vitals, glucose checks, and lab specimen delivery.
• Document information accurately in bed-management systems.
