Job summary

UPMC Children’s North Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time RN in the PACU to join our daylight team. The position features five 8-hour shifts per week with a Monday–Friday schedule, minimal weekends, and no holiday requirements.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of nursing experience and will have opportunities for growth through UPMC’s Nursing Career Ladder. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, apply the nursing process within Relationship Based Care, and act as a resource leader

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a role model of professional nursing practice and leader in the unit.
• Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
• Demonstrates strong communication to translate patient condition to other care providers.
• Identifies opportunities for clinical quality and continuous improvement.
• Maintains balance between work and personal life through prioritization and delegation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
