Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Patient Care Companion for the Nursing Float Pool in Park Ridge, IL. This full-time role (0.9 FTE) covers 3 twelve-hour shifts with nights every third weekend and rotating holidays.

You will observe safety and provide basic patient care under supervision, assist with nutrition, and document patient outcomes to support the care team. A high school diploma or GED is required; strong communication and compassion are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintains documentation and supports efficient unit operations.
